    Make the most of the school holidays with this white water kayaking and abseiling adventure day for school kids! It’s the perfect opportunity to get outside, get active, and do exciting activities with other kids. 

    Just 30 minutes northeast of Melbourne, these school holiday adventure camps provide an amazing fix of action while being super convenient. In this full day adventure you’ll learn all the kayaking paddle techniques you need on flat water, before taking on low grade white water rapids down the Yarra River. Then get your adrenaline pumping when you step over the edge of a cliff face for an abseiling session you’ll never forget!

    • This experience is for children between the age of 8 and 17

    What to Bring/Wear

    • Closed footwear needs to be worn on the river, and closed shoes are required for the abseil

    • Minibus transfer shuttles during the activity

    • Qualified, fun, and experienced instructors

    More Information

    • There's a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 participants for this experience to run
    • This adventure day involves three hours of kayaking and two hours of abseiling, with safety briefings included
    • All full day trips include transport from 1st Bentleigh Scout Hall, Victory Park and are subject to suitable weather
