Magic right on our doorstep
This is such a cool experience. Great fun whether you live here or just visiting. Most people had no kayaking experience, but the team gave expert guidance on all the things we needed to know to enjoy the day. We saw two cute little fairy penguins, sealions, lizards, pelicans and kookaburras plus some sealife when we went snorkelling. Can definitely recommend and would do the trip again.

What you can expect
Get out on the water for a half day sea kayaking adventure around Shoalwater Marine Park and experience the best that the Western Australian coast has to offer. You'll explore the waters around Penguin Island and Seal Island, where you'll be able to see wildlife and marine life up close.Meeting at Safety Bay in the morning, you'll be fitted out with a sun shirt, hat, life-jacket and snorkelling gear to get you ready for the day. Then you'll have a quick kayaking lesson on the beach before jumping into the boats and heading out into the water. Look out for sea lions, a pelican colony and fairy penguins along the way as you paddle past rugged islands and pristine beaches. A healthy picnic brunch is included to keep you fuelled up on your adventure around the crystal waters of the marine park.

- This tour maybe cancelled due to bad weather. Your tour operator will contact you in the evening on the day prior to your booking to reschedule.
Operating Hours
- This tour runs September to April and is subject to availability
- Return to Shoalwater around 2pm
What To Bring
- Swimwear is recommended during the warmer summers months
- Jacket for September, October, November, April and May if it's a cool day

- This tour is available seven days a week from late September to April
- Departs at 8am and returns to Shoalwater at approximately 1.30 -2pm
- This tour maybe cancelled due to bad weather - your tour operator will contact you in the evening on the day prior to your booking to reschedule
- There is a minimum of two participants required and operates with a maximum of 16.

Kayaking adventure
A very good day. Lots of fun, good food and time for snorkeling. Took time to get organised in the morning but once out on the water, fun had by all.
