The world-famous Great Barrier Reef needs little introduction, and you’ll get the opportunity to see it for yourself on this half-day afternoon snorkelling tour. You’ll be transferred from Cape Tribulation and head out to snorkel at two locations during the trip – Mackay Reefs – giving you plenty of chance to see the amazing variety of coral species and marine life.
The real fun of the day will start when you board a vessel and head out to sea. Here, the experienced crew will get you set up with your snorkel gear, a briefing, and helpful tips. The eco host and skipper will be on hand to make sure you’re able to fully make the most of your visit to two world heritage sites - the coastal rainforest of Daintree and the Great Barrier Reef.
During your trip you should look out for sea turtles, starfish, eagle rays and all kinds of tropical fish as you swim over colourful coral reefs. And if you need refreshment or want to snap photos to remember your day, underwater cameras, water, soft drinks and snacks will be available to buy on the boat.
