Get out on the water for a full day of snorkelling around Western Australia's Ningaloo Reef and tick the ultimate adventure off your bucket list: swimming with whale sharks. For 8-10 hours you'll be cruising around the reef, stopping at multiple amazing snorkelling locations, and tracking down the biggest fish in the sea so you can gear up the courage to jump in the water with them.
Departing in the morning from Coral Bay, you'll quickly be enjoying your first snorkelling opportunity in the colourful coral gardens. Look out for the countless fish, sea turtles, reef sharks and abundance of other marine species that call these waters home. After some morning tea, it's time to journey to the outer reef.
Using spotter planes to find whale sharks, the boat will take you to their location so you can have an unforgettable swimming with sharks experience. You'll be split into two groups of 10, and take turns in the water snorkelling around the whale shark. In total you'll be able to have a maximum of one hour swimming time as to not disturb the whale sharks in their natural habitat. On your return journey you'll stop off for a second reef snorkel at another amazing site, and finish things off with some fruit and a glass of bubbles to cheers to your action-packed day.
