    This shark diving experience is not for the faint-hearted! Face your fears with this thrilling cage-less shark dive in the open waters off Mooloolaba. You'll board a purpose-built glass bottom boat spearheaded by Queensland's only Sea Shepherd Dive partner, who are committed to the preservation of marine habitat and marine life.

    On your journey out to the reef you will learn a little about their preservation efforts and the grey nurse shark species. Then it's time to take the plunge and go diving with up to 20 of these majestic creatures and other marine species including fish, corals and turtles. Swimming with sharks is an unbeatable thrill that you need to tick off your bucket list.

  • Experience Details

    Fitness and Experience

    • No experience is required. Extra training required for non certified divers (not included)
    • If you are certified, it is mandatory that you bring your dive certification card
    • Diving requires a reasonable level of fitness and the ability to swim
    • Not suitable for people who are pregnant, suffer from asthma, or have conditions that exclude them from diving
    • Participants over 45 years will require a medical certificate

    What is Supplied

    • Dive with sharks experience, approximately four to five hours
    • Training and transport
    • Gear hire is an additional $99+GST (subject to change)

    More Information

    • This experience runs with a maximum of 12 divers so as to not disturb the sharks
    • No prior scuba diving experience is necessary, however extra training (not included) will be required if not a certified diver
    • Dive will proceed in rain, hail or sunshine, but will be rescheduled if wind exceeds 15 knots or waves exceed 1.5 metres, out of concern for guest safety and quality of experience. You will receive a credit in the event of a dive charter cancellation due to weather
    • The provider can arrange a professional photographer to dive with participants and take photos at a cost of $80 which includes an SD card for them to keep
    • Uncertified divers cannot hire or bring their own camera as uncertified divers must have both hands free in line with OHS regulations
    • Certified divers can hire a camera for $30 and bring their own SD
    • Cancellation outside of 48 hours will incur a $20 fee 
    • No cancellations inside 48 hours

    • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
    • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
    • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
