Get out on the water and explore the iconic Sydney Harbour on this exciting two hour guided kayaking adventure. See landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge from a new perspective, while enjoying an exhilarating paddle around the harbour.
This is an adventure that will get your blood pumping and give you the best views in Sydney. After a full demonstration on the best kayaking strategy, you'll hit the water and spend the next two hours soaking up the iconic sites and learning about their history.
Paddle past the Royal Botanic Gardens, Garden Island Navy Base, Fort Denison, Kirribilli and Admiralty Houses, and the highlight of the experience is getting your photo with your friends and family in front of the Sydney Opera House with the Sydney Harbour Bridge framing the scene.

- Kayaking demonstration and instruction

- Price is per person in a double kayak (some singles are available and are allocated on the day depending on numbers)

Duration
- This experience is two hours in duration
Departure Location
- Please meet at 6 Lincoln Crescent, Sydney.
- Walk 200 metres along the shoreline to the north (the navy base will be on the opposite side of the bay).
What To Bring
- Fast drying clothes
- Sandals or shoes for the beach
- Sunscreen, hat, bottle of water
- If you are prone to motion sickness, please take some medication as a precaution
- Leave your valuables at home
Additional Information
- A moderate level of fitness is required
- Tours will generally be postponed only due to winds greater than 30km per hour. Notification will be provided at least 12 hours prior to the activity, if weather conditions are significantly different to the forecast, tours may be postponed by email and/or phone on the day.
- The closest toilets to the meeting point are across the road from the swimming pool 200 metres to the north. Please leave enough time to use the bathrooms as tours will depart on time.
Terms And Conditions
- You must be able to swim to participate in this experience
- Full training is provided so no kayaking experience is necessary
- The weight limit is 180kg per double kayak.
- Single paddlers may need to share a double kayak.
- Minimum age is eight years
- Every child under 15 must have an adult paddler on the same kayak.
- The minimum weight for lifejackets is 25kg.
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

James is great!
We actually missed the first session as we initially booked in for the sunrise kayak but James was super kind to let us join in on the second session. Super cool and interactive guide who gives helpful tips before we get on the water, can never be too careful on water. Would definitely do it next time and be sure to not miss the sunrise 🙏
