Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.

Competition Structure 

The Adrenaline x GoPro Best Job in the World promotion is made up of a Short List Competition and Grand Prize Competition.  

The top 30 submissions received in the Short List Competition will win the Short List Prizes and be eligible to enter the Grand Prize Competition (Short List Competition Winners). The Promoter reserves the right to reduce the number of Shortlist Competition Winners if fewer than 30 entries are determined by the judges, at their absolute discretion, to be of sufficient standard to qualify as winners of the Short List Competition.   

The winner of the Grand Prize Competition (Grand Prize Competition Winner) will be eligible to receive the Grand Prize.  

Short List Competition Period  

The Short List Competition Period commences at 10:00 AEST on 1/03/2022 and ends at 23:59 AEST on 31/03/2022 (Competition Period). 

Grand Prize Competition Period 

The Grand Prize Competition Period promotion commences at 10:00 AEST on 1/04/2022 and ends at 23:59 AEST on 24/04/2022. (Grand Prize Promotional Period) 

Eligibility to enter Short List Competition  

Entry into the Short List Competition is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over, except for: 

employees of the Promoter and GoPro (and their immediate family members); and  

employees (and their immediate family members) of the Promoter and GoPro’s related companies, agencies, retailers and suppliers, 

(Eligible Entrants). 

Eligibility to enter Grand Prize Competition  

Entry into the Grand Prize Competition is only open by invitation to the Short List Competition Winners.

HOW TO ENTER  

Overview 

To enter the Short List Competition, Eligible Entrants must submit an entry application online via the GoPro Awards website during the Short List Competition Period. 

Once judged, the Short List Competition Winners will be selected and become eligible to enter the Grand Prize Competition. 

Entry to this Competition is governed by the additional GoPro Awards Content Submission Agreement and conditions, available at: https://gopro.com/en/us/legal/awards-terms  

How to Enter 

Note: Entrants do not need to sign up for GoPro offers or the GoPro content Licencing Program to participate. 

Short List Competition 

To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the Short List Competition  Period: 

Upload a photo or video of an adventurous activity to the GoPro awards website, https://gopro.com/en/au/awards/ 

Create or login to a valid GoPro account;
Complete an entry form with: (note, answers do not form part of the judging criteria) 
Title; 
Short Description; 
Location; 
Products Used;

Agree to GoPro terms & conditions.  

Grand Prize Competition 

Only Short List Competition Winners are eligible to enter the Grand Prize Competition. 

To enter the Grand Prize Competition, Short List Competition Winners must, during the Grand Prize Competition Period:

Using the Adrenaline Voucher & GoPro provided as a Short List Prize, participate in an Adrenaline experience and film the experience on GoPro. 
The GoPro camera will be delivered within seven (7) days of prize draw, by 7th April 2022. 
An available Adrenaline adventure must be booked between camera arrival and 24th April 2022 on https://www.adrenaline.com.au/search/
If an adventure is delayed or cancelled due to weather, the entrant must either rebook the same experience or another experience within the same time frame. If the entrant is unable to participate in any Adrenaline activity before 24th April 2022, the entrant must contact action@adrenaline.com.au by 17:00 AEST 18th April 2022 to capture an agreed alternate activity for entry.  
And upload a minimum of one (1) video and five (5) photos to a nominated file sharing account provided to each entrant by Two Palms Agency on behalf of Adrenaline & GoPro by 23:59 AEST on 24th April 2022. 

Content Requirements 

To enter, entrants must ensure that all content submitted complies with the following: 

content must be free from usage restrictions for both Adrenaline & GoPro to use across owned and paid channels; 

entrants must be the sole creator and owner of submitted content; 

content must be captured on a GoPro or similar quality camera/video camera; 

content must be submitted in the highest resolution possible; 

content must be in original, unedited form (no filters or cropping); 

video must be submitted with no music or with free-licensed music; and 

all participants in content (including identifiable general public) must have consented to the use of their image by GoPro and Adrenaline. 

Receipt of Entries 

 

All Short List Competition entries must be submitted to the GoPro Awards platform by 23:59 AEST on 31/03/2022 to be considered a valid entry. 

All Grand Prize Competition entries must be submitted to the GoPro Awards platform by 23:59 AEST on 24/04/2022 to be considered a valid entry.

Are multiple entries permitted? 

Yes, each entrant to both the Short List Competition and Grand Prize Competition may submit unlimited unique entries. 

Winner Selection Dates 

Short List Competition Winners: selection will take place at 17:00 AEST on 1/04/2022 at Level 17, 5 Martin Place, Sydney, NSW, 2000. 

Grand Prize Competition Winner: selection will take place at 10:00 AEST on 29/04/2022 at Level 17, 5 Martin Place, Sydney, NSW, 2000. 

Prize Winner Notification 

Each winner will be notified via email or phone within two (2) days of the winner(s) being determined. 

Prize(s) – Description 

Short List Prizes (Total Prize Pool $26,398.50 AUD) 

  • The Short List Competition Winners will receive a GoProHERO10 Black (RRP $529.95 AUD) and an Adrenaline Adventure Voucher (RRP $350 AUD) each (total prize value $879.95 AUD each (x up to 30 winners)). 

  • The voucher is not redeemable for cash. The Promoter will not be responsible for any gift voucher that is lost or stolen. 

  • The prizes will be delivered within seven (7) days of the winners being selected. 

Grand Prize (Total Prize Value up to $100,000 AUD excl. GST) 

  • The Grand Prize Competition Winner will win a one (1) year Campaign Creator contract with Promoter worth up to $100,000 AUD excl. GST.  

  • To claim the Grand Prize, the Grand Prize Competition Winner must sign a contractor agreement with Promoter covering up to four (4) single day campaign shoots for the Adrenaline brand.  

  • After each campaign shoot and upon delivery of the agreed campaign deliverables listed below (Agreed Grand Prize Campaign Shoot Deliverables), the Grand Prize Competition Winner may invoice Promoter up to a maximum of $25,000 AUD excl. GST. The total amount invoiced will be subject to the creative scope and shoot deliverables of each campaign, which are to be agreed between the parties at the start of each campaign.   

  • the Agreed Grand Prize Campaign Shoot Deliverables are: 

1x Campaign Shoot Direction Document including storyboard and direction for each video and image listed below; 
1x 30s Edited Video; 
1x 15s Edited Video; 
2 x 6s Edited Video(s); 
10x Unedited High Resolution (300dpi) Images; and  
Up to 3x rounds of feedback. 
The Agreed Grand Prize Campaign Shoot Deliverables must be delivered for each completed single day campaign shoots. 
All taxes (excluding GST), which may be payable as a consequence of receiving the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner. 
Invoices to Promoter must be raised under an ABN.
(Each of the above items are the Grand Prize Conditions).

The first names of the Short List Competition Winners will be published on www.adrenaline.com.au by 17:00 AEST 2/04/2022 

The full name of the 1x Grand Prize Competition Winner will be announced on www.adrenaline.com.au by 17:00 AEST 29/04/2022 

Unclaimed Prizes  

If the Grand Prize is unclaimed by 20/05/2022, a second Grand Prize winner will be announced at 10:00 AEST on 24/05/2022. 

If the Grand Prize Conditions are unable to be fulfilled by the winner, the Grand Prize will be awarded to the next runner up who is able to satisfy the Grand Prize Conditions within seven (7) days of the Promoter being notified of the forfeiture. 

 

Disclaimer: 

By participating in the Competition, each entrant acknowledges that they participate at their own risk and that the Promoter is not responsible for any physical harm or death that may befall any entrant as a result of participation in the Competition. Entrants should not expose themselves or others to any dangerous, harmful, or illegal behaviour or activity at any time during the Competition. Entrants agree to abide by all applicable laws. 

PART B - LICENCING 

  1. By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees that they represent and warrant ownership and the right to license to the Promoter and its related companies and GoPro all of the video or audio-visual content, footage and photographs submitted as part of this Competition including any rights to the music contained therein (together, the “UGC”). 

License grant 

  1. By submitting UGC each entrant hereby grants to the Promoter and its related companies and GoPro a perpetual, worldwide, unlimited, irrevocable, transferable, assignable, royalty-free, fully-paid license for the Promoter and its related companies and GoPro to:  

    • use that UGC and the entrant’s appearances or other identifying information in connection with entrant’s UGC, and the right to record, copy, publicly perform, broadcast, exhibit, transmit, distribute, create derivate works, and otherwise exploit any master recordings and underlying musical compositions as synchronized to the UGC and provide the public performance rights for such UGC, for any purpose, including but not limited to any commercial advertising, in any manner or media now or later developed; and 

    • to the extent that the entrant or any third party recognizably appears in the UGC, to use the appearances, in or in connection with the UGC, in any and all media now known or hereafter created.  
  1. Subject to applicable laws, the entrant waives any moral and privacy rights that the entrant may have in any UGC. 

  1. The entrant warrants that for all content containing any identifiable person/s, including the general public, the entrant holds an express written consent and/or irrefutable agreement to waive their moral or privacy rights within the UGC. The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter and its related companies against all losses, damages and claims however arising in relation to a breach of this clause 4.  

Use of UGC  

  1. The entrant agrees that the Promoter and its related companies, and GoPro may use an entrant’s submission and the UGC, in whole or in part, without any further approval by the entrant. 

Ownership 

  1. The Promoter and GoPro acknowledge and agree that the entrant retains all right, title and interest in and to the UGC and appearances, including all intellectual property rights, rights of publicity or privacy and moral rights therein, other than those rights granted under this Agreement.  

  1. The entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter and its related companies and/or GoPro shall acquire all right, title and interest in the derivative works of the UGC.  

Intellectual property and moral rights 

  1. By entering this Competition, the entrant licenses the Promoter and its related companies to use the content of their entry in any way the Promoter wishes (including modifying, adapting, copying, publishing, broadcasting or communicating the entry whether in original or modified form in whole or in part) in all media in perpetuity without payment to the entrant of royalties or compensation. 

  1. By entering this Competition, the entrant consents to the Promoter and its related companies dealing with their content in any way that may otherwise infringe the entrant’s moral rights and agree not to assert their moral rights (wherever such rights are recognised) in respect of their entry against the Promoter and its related companies, or its assigns, licensees or successors. 

  1. The entrant warrants that their entry is not in breach of any third party intellectual property rights. The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter and its related companies against all losses, damages and claims however arising in relation to a breach of this clause 10.  

PART C - PRIZE(S) 

  1. The prizes consist of the following:  

Grand Prize: 

  • A one (1) year Campaign Creator agreement with Promoter covering up to four (4) adventure shoots valued at up to $25,000 AUD excl. GST each. Total prize value up to $100,000 AUD excl. GST. 
      • To claim the Grand Prize, the Grand Prize Competition Winner must sign a contractor agreement with Promoter, covering up to four (4) shoots for the Adrenaline brand. 
      • After each shoot and upon delivery of the Agreed Grand Prize Campaign Shoot Deliverables, the Grand Prize Competition Winner may invoice Promoter  up to a maximum of $25,000 AUD excl. GST. The total amount invoiced will be subject to the creative scope and shoot deliverables of each campaign, which are to be agreed between the parties at the time. 
      • The Agreed Grand Prize Campaign Shoot Deliverables include (per shoot): Campaign Shoot Direction Document including storyboard and direction for each video and image listed below;
        • 1x 30s Edited Video; 
        • 1x 15s Edited Video; 
        • 2 x 6s Edited Video(s); 
        • 10x Unedited High Resolution (300dpi) Images; and 
        • Up to 3x rounds of feedback. 
    • Both parties will work to find mutually agreeable times to complete campaign shoots. Indicative campaigns and timing are listed below: 
      • Great Outdoors Month Content (May 2022) 
      • Birthday Themed Content (June 2022) 
      • Favourite Adventure Content Series (July 2022)
      • V8 Content for Supercars (September 2022)  
    • All taxes (excluding GST), which may be payable as a consequence of receiving the Grand Prize, are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Competition Winner. 

    • Invoices to Adrenaline must be raised under an ABN. 

    • Failure to complete the Agreed Grand Prize Campaign Shoot Deliverables will result in forfeiture of all or part of the Grand Prize. 

Short List Prizes: 

  • Up to 30x GoProHERO10 Black (RRP $529.95 AUD each) and Adrenaline Adventure Vouchers (valued at up to RRP $350 AUD each). Total Prize Value RRP $879.95 AUD each. 

    • The voucher is not redeemable for cash. The Promoter will not be responsible for any gift voucher that is lost or stolen. 
  1. The prizes do not include insurance, superannuation, or PAYG taxes, which are the responsibility of each winner. 

  1. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to create an employment relationship between the entrant and their respective officers, employees, and agents. The Grand Prize shoot will be conducted on a contractor basis only. 

  1. All taxes (excluding GST) that may be payable as a consequence of receiving the prizes, are the sole responsibility of the winner. 

  1. The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered (even if caused by negligence) as a result of the winner(s) accepting and/or using the prizes, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. 

  1. Entrants acknowledge that use of, or participation in, the prizes carries inherent risk. Entrants acknowledge that use of the prizes may be dangerous and if they (and any other person(s) sharing the prizes with the winner) choose to participate in the prizes, they do so at their own risk. Use of the prize may be subject to obtaining medical clearance and the terms and conditions of the prize supplier. The Promoter or prize supplier may require the winner to sign an agreement releasing the Promoter and/or prize supplier from all liability arising from the winner’s use of the prize(s).  

  1. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner arising from, or in connection with, the prizes supplied by the prize supplier, or the conduct of the prize supplier. 

Selection of winners 

  1. A panel of GoPro, Two Palms Agency & Promoter employees (The Panel) in their absolute discretion will select the winners of the Short List Competition and Grand Prize Competition. When selecting the winners, The Panel will consider creativity and originality, production quality, and entertainment value.   

  1. Entrants agree to be bound by The Panel’s decisions, which are final and binding on all matters related to the Competition.  

  1. The Competition is a game of skill. Chance will play no part in determining the winner. 

  1. Within two (2) days of the winner(s) being determined on the Prize Winner Selection Dates, each winner will be notified via email or phone. 

Prize delivery 

  1. Short List Prizes will be delivered to the Short List Competition Winners within 7 days of the Short List Competition Prize Winner Selection Date. 

  1. The Grand Prize will be transferred to the Grand Prize Competition Winner in relevant instalments of up to $25,000 AUD (totalling a maximum of up to $100,000 AUD) within 30 days of the Promoter receiving each invoice subject to the requirements in clauses 11(a)(i)-11(a)(vii).  

Prize substitution 

  1. In the event that any of the prizes (or any part of the prizes) become unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize (or the relevant part of a prize) with a prize of equal or greater value subject to any contrary direction from a regulatory authority.  

PART D – PRIVACY  

Use of entrant’s personal information 

  1. Personal information including each entrant’s name, address, telephone number, email and nominated bank account details will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this Competition. This may require disclosure to third parties, including local regulatory authorities and the Promoter’s agents or third party service providers, for the purpose of conducting the Competition, or for promotional and marketing purposes (including for direct marketing) (Purpose). 

  1. By entering this Competition, entrants consent to the use of their personal information for the Purpose, and consent and agree that the Promoter may contact them for future marketing and material purposes without payment. Entrants agree that the Promoter may use this information for that purpose. 

  1. Entrants may access, change or update their personal information by emailing the Promoter on action@adrenaline.com.au during office hours. A copy of the Promoter’s Privacy policy is available at https://help.adrenaline.com.au/s/article/Privacy-Copyright. The Privacy Policy contains information about how individuals may access or correct personal information or make a privacy related complaint. 

Publicity 

  1. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner of the Short List Competition and/or Grand Prize Competition in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting this Competition (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. 

PART E – SOCIAL MEDIA 

Social media platforms  

  1. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury to entrants resulting from entering or participating in this Competition including arising from any comments made, or material published, by third parties about the entrant on any social media platform in connection with this Competition. 

PART F – GENERAL CONDITIONS 

  1. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way. 

  1. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Competition, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided as part of the redemption of a prize should be directed to Promoter. 

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of the social media profile of Eligible Entrants and of the age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into, or participation in, this Competition. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final.  

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.  

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this Competition, breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. 

  1. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights.  

  1. The Winner has rights under the Australian Consumer Law and other similar legislation that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by the Promoter. These terms and conditions do not exclude, restrict or limit those statutory rights in any way. However, to the extent that it is permitted to do so, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability whether arising in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise for any personal injury or any other loss or damage (including without limitation loss of opportunity or loss of profits) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including, without limitation: 

    • any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); 

    • any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; 

    • any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; 

    • any variation in market value to that stated in these terms and conditions; 

    • any tax implications; and 

    • the prize/s or use of the prize/s 

  1. If, for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, this Competition is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available to it, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, unless to do so would be prohibited by law. 

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition or amend these terms and conditions, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.
