Get ready for an incredible day visiting some of Australia’s most beautiful tropical locations. You’ll travel to Cape Tribulation, where some of the world’s oldest rainforest meets stunning white sand, coral reefs and aquamarine water.
You’ll travel in a comfortable air-conditioned coach, so relax until you stop for morning tea at the Mossman Gorge Centre. Then it’s on to Mossman Gorge itself for a walk through this breathtaking rainforest environment, where the knowledgeable guide will share interesting information as you go.
Next stop is the Daintree River. On your one-hour cruise you’ll learn about the crocodiles, tree snakes, birds and unique plants that call this region home. A tropical lunch, with fish, steak or vegetarian options (plus fresh salad and fruit), will be served in the scenic surrounds of a private rainforest property.
After lunch, it’s on to Cape Tribulation. Soak up the scenery and take in the panoramic views from the Kulki Lookout. All that sightseeing can make you hungry, so the Daintree Ice Cream Company’s delicious homemade ice cream is the perfect place to take a break.
Suitably refreshed, you’ll pass through the lush green rainforests of the Alexandra Range, and stop at the breathtaking lookout over the Daintree River estuary, Snapper Island and the Coral Sea. All that’s left is to sit back and enjoy the ride as your day exploring this beautiful World Heritage Listed region comes to an end.
