Head out of Cairns and into the ancient heritage-listed rainforests! On this full day adventure, you'll swim under waterfalls, have fun on the world famous natural rockslide, wander past 15 metre high tree roots in the rainforest, and jump into pristine volcanic crater lake!
Your first stop is Babina Boulders, where the crystal water cascades over huge boulders into green rainforest pools. Next stop is the iconic Josephine Falls, where you will have so much fun on the natural rockslide down the waterfall, splashing into the crystal clear waters below. Then we travel onto Millaa Millaa Falls, right in the heart of the lush Wet Tropics World Heritage-listed rainforest. This is one of the most photographed waterfalls in Queensland, and is home of the iconic “hair flick” waterfall photos. You'll be treated to some lunch at our favourite local stop, then head over to see the 15 metre high roots of the Curtain Fig Tree and try to spot the elusive Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo. Look for platypus' in a quiet creek before we stop at Lake Eacham to swim in a cool volcanic crater lake that's home to a huge population of turtles!
