Spend the day immersed in the incredible natural splendours of the Northern Territory's Nitmiluk National Park on this full day adventure tour. Departing from Darwin, you'll visit the amazing Edith Falls for a refreshing swim, cruise down Katherine Gorge, and see plenty more natural and historical sites.
Nitmiluk National Park spans over 292,000 hectares, full of massive gorges, stunning waterfalls, and lush wilderness and wildlife. From Darwin your first stop is at the Adelaide River War Cemetery, which commemorates the victims of the Bombing of Darwin. You'll continue on to Nitmiluk National Park to visit Edith Falls and jump into the crystal waters for a swim if you're up for it.
Check out the Aboriginal rock art and visit the Nitmiluk Visitor Centre to learn about the Jawoyn people, who are the traditional owners of the Park. In the afternoon you'll jump on board for a two hour cruise down Katherine Gorge, which is surrounded by stunning 70 metre high cliffs and home to plenty of wildlife - including freshwater crocodiles!
