Now, discover the ancient and sacred Uluru in the heart of Australia’s outback in a whole new light – by Segway! Jump on and throw caution to the wind when you cruise around the entire base of Uluru, so close that you’ll spot Aboriginal artwork drawn on Uluru’s caves, fissures and rock formations – this bucket list experience will have a huge tick next to it!
This experience requires minimum numbers to go ahead. Participants will be contacted by the experience provider direct to reschedule if minimum numbers have not been reached.
Your tour of Uluru by Segway should last approximately 5 hours. You’ll be picked up an hour before sunrise on the day of your trip. You are required to sign a waiver form before you start your experience. Audio devices are available in the following languages: French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, and Spanish.
This experience includes transfers to and from the Ayers Rock Resort and Campground. Please organise your transfer with your experience provider. Your transfer will take you the Kuniya Carpark located at Petermann, NT 0872, which is where your experience will begin. You can alternatively plan to make your own way there.
Please note that riding a Segway is not a mobility activity. Take a look at the restrictions and fitness levels required before you book. If you fail to meet these requirements, the experience provider reserves the right to restrict you from starting or completing the tour.
Uluru tours can be affected by the weather. The experience provider must adhere to the safety rules of the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. The tour must cease when the BOM forecasts a 20% chance of rain within the next 3 hours and can only recommence once the weather forecast improves. If your Uluru Segway experience is cancelled due to the weather, you will be offered a rescheduled date and time, or a credit refund.
