What's it really like to drive a V8 supercar?

You’ll be given pre-drive tuition and supplied with all the necessary safety gear and clothing, so relax, you’re in safe hands.
Your instructor will give you expert instruction through the intercom as you drive, to make sure you go as fast as you can while remaining safe. This will make sure you’re making the very best of the experience. You’ll pick up tips on gear changes, vehicle control, efficient acceleration and braking, cornering, steering, apexes and exiting and more besides.
It’s a lot of fun being behind the wheel and there are no speed limits on the track, so prepare to be blown away.
What engines do V8 supercars use?
The car you’ll drive on your race experience at Adelaide’s Mallala Motorsport Park will be a track-prepared V8 six-speed Commodore or Monaro. These are approved by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS), with supercar 6-pot brakes, racing slicks, Bilstein suspension and Racing gearbox this is not your ordinary car.
