What you can expect
Just because you’re not a professional race car driver doesn’t mean that you can’t experience the adrenaline-pumping intensity of race cars. Jump into an F1-style, Formula Ford racing car and take on the extreme speed out on Sydney's Eastern Creek racetrack. First off, you’ll complete two orientation laps around the track in a road car with a real race car driver behind the wheel to prepare you for driving a real race car. Then it’s time to get behind the wheel of a single-seater F1-style Formula Ford race car and experience the thrill of a race car firsthand. You’ll be strapped in by a six-point racing harness in an open cockpit with a quick-release steering wheel in front of you, and a gear stick connected to a 4-speed close ratio, purpose-built racing gearbox. For 10 laps of Eastern Creek race track you can tear up the tarmac and enjoy the power at your fingertips. You’ll experience heart-pounding thrills as the F1-style Formula Ford race car slides and drifts around the circuit at extreme speeds. This machine has over 2.5Gs of lateral grip, so the cornering forces are insane. It’s an experience that will have you riding an adrenaline high long after. You will be driving on the Corporate Hill section of Sydney Motorsport Park’s Amaroo (South) Circuit. Cars driven on the day are State Championship Level racing quality, and are used in races across Australia, so this is the real deal.

Time
- Please allow approximately 2-3 hours for this experience
- Sessions run from 7:30am - 4:30pm, with two dates scheduled per month (dependent on availability)
- Please arrive 45 minutes prior to the session start time
Location
- This experience takes place at Sydney Motorsport Park, Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek, NSW. Travelling east or west on the M4, take the Reservoir Road exit. Follow the Sydney Motorsport Park signs on the Great Western Highway and turn left into Brabham Drive
- Once you reach the roundabout at the end of Brabham Drive (near the Alpha Hotel) turn right and follow Ferrers Road around to the gate A entry (formerly gate 7).
Departure Location
- This experience takes place at Sydney Motorsport Park, Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek, NSW. Travelling east or west on the M4, take the Reservoir Road exit. Follow the Sydney Motorsport Park signs on the Great Western Highway and turn left into Brabham Drive.
- Once you reach the roundabout at the end of Brabham Drive (near the Alpha Hotel) turn right and follow Ferrers Road around to the gate A entry (formerly gate 7).
- Please arrive 45 minutes prior to the session start time.
What To Bring
- Bring your driving licence (no licence, no driving)
- Closed-toe shoes are essential
- Hat, sunscreen and sunglasses
- Clothes suitable for the weather on the day
- For safety reasons, drivers are not permitted to take recording devices on their drive but video footage is available to purchase on the day
Additional Information
- Not suitable during pregnancy or for participants that suffer from certain medical conditions, consult a medical professional
- Participants must have "P" standard manual driving license and be able to operate a manual gearbox
- Participants will be required to sign an indemnity accepting liability for any damage to the car
- Minimum age is 16 years, and participants under the age of 18 years will require a parent/guardian to sign such forms on their behalf
- The minimum height on this experience is 155cm, and the maximum is 188cm
- Maximum weight is 120kg
- Please contact Adrenaline if you are looking to book more than six months in advance
- This event is an all weather event, and in the event that your session cannot run due to weather conditions, we will reschedule your experience to another suitable date and time. Cancellations are subject to the adventure provider
- Once this experience is booked, it is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled, however changes can be made as per below

- Change your booking up to 14 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 14 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- No refunds will be offered on any booked experiences

Need longer track
Track was too short to really enjoy the drive. Couldn't really open it up with all the turns. Each lap is less than a minute so $500 for less than 10 minutes.
