What you can expect
Skip the queue and get the full V8 performance racing experience with this ultimate VIP combination of hot laps and driving laps on the North Circuit at Sydney Motorsport Park. You'll get behind the wheel and put your own driving skills to the test for six laps around the circuit, and strap into the passenger seat for two blistering laps with a real race car driver showing you the full high-speed potential of the car. Your V8 drive day kicks off with a safety briefing and pre-drive tuition session with experienced race drivers to ensure you master the track. They’ll go over techniques on cornering, apexes and exiting, efficient braking and acceleration, steering, gear changes and general car control, as well as safety and track awareness. You’ll have time to ask any questions and make sure you feel comfortable taking the wheel and taking on the track in a V8 race car. Then it's time to experience the extreme horsepower and g-force of the V8 race car, and take on the 2.8km circuit with your instructor guiding you from the passenger seat. While you're still buzzing from your six lap drive, move over to the front passenger seat and let an experienced race driver show you how the professionals do it for two lighting-fast hot laps.Remember to invite friends and family to your V8 day as the excitement is next level from the sidelines. You choose between Ford or Holden Cars. No manual-transmission driving experience necessary.

Seasons
- V8 days are not normally affected by weather, unless there is an absolute downpour in which case the day will be rescheduled. In the event of inclement weather, your ride will be rescheduled. Our weather check recorded message service is updated on an hourly basis
- To prevent a wasted journey to the circuit, we recommend that you call 0412 018 035 before you leave and on a hourly basis throughout your journey to check for updates.
Operating Hours
- Please ensure you arrive on time as you may need to complete some paperwork prior to your briefing
- You will need to allow up to three hours out at the track

- No manual-transmission driving experience necessary
- You must hold a minimum of a P-Plate licence to drive
- You must be able to fit into an XXXL race suit or smaller
- Maximum height is 194cm
- Minimum height is 135cm
- Maximum weight is 130kg
- Not suitable for anyone who is pregnant
- You must have a 0.00% blood alcohol reading on the day
- The experience provider reserves the right to stop the car or refuse anyone found to be driving or acting in an unsafe manner

The perfect motoring experience
I purchased the VIP experience for my wife - she drove 6 laps and then was a passenger for 2 laps with a professional driver- which she did today. Ros found it to be one of the best experiences she has had. Graham and Kurt, the 2 drivers, as well as all the staff were wonderful. A fantastic experience that I suspect she is keen to do again- at least once the adrenaline gos back to normal levels!
